What will I be doing?

The Quantexa Platform is used to process and query huge volumes of data with the ultimate aim of detecting anomalous and suspicious activity, it is highly configurable and customisable through configuration and code. The user interface enables users to conduct complex investigations into fraud and financial crime cases and visualise complex networks of criminal activity. Quantexa are now looking to recruit an Instructional Designer to support our Customers and Partners in learning how to configure, use, and implement The Quantexa Platform.

In this role you will be working with the R&D team developing training and learning content for new and existing products. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Working with Product development teams to understand new products and develop engaging training materials for Client and Partner integration teams on how to configure and customise the Platform.
  • Conducting requirements assessments and content audits of existing training content to identify and address any gaps.
  • Developing engaging end user training content.
  • Working with the Customer Success team to understand the current and future needs and requirements of customers.
  • Working with the documentation and knowledge management teams to ensure consistency in materials.
  • Conducting feedback sessions with users to understand how we can improve content.
  • Helping to establish and track metrics for e-learning content.
  • Delivering webinars and instructor-led training to a variety of technical audiences, both one-to-one sessions and large groups as required.

Requirements

What do I need to have?
  • Experience delivering webinars and instructor-led training to a variety of technical audiences, both one-to-one sessions and large groups.
  • Experience designing, maintaining, and delivering engaging training resources to teach complex concepts to a range of users.
  • Experience developing training content for technical audiences such as developers, system integrators, and system administrators.
  • Ability to conduct needs assessments, evaluate content, and design new fit-for-purpose learning materials.
  • Understanding of modern best practices for delivering e-learning content, including experience working with and administering LMS systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts succinctly.
  • Experience working across multiple teams with multiple stakeholders providing requirements.
  • Passion and drive to grow within one of the UK’s fastest-growing Start-ups.

What additional experience would be beneficial?
  • Exposure to the financial services arena.
  • An understanding of big data or data science.
  • Knowledge of at least one big data technology such as Spark, Hadoop or Elasticsearch.
  • An understanding of Scala or Java.
  • An understanding of data processing pipelines for use in production “hands off” batch systems, including either traditional ETL pipelines and/or analytics pipelines.
