Exceptional opportunity for an entrepreneurial Senior Business Development professional to grow and develop a new territory from scratch, within a fast growing, well-funded Global Life Sciences group. You will have a large degree of autonomy within this challenging but rewarding role, along with a generous base and incentives package.

Yoh Scientific is working with a fast-growing International Biotechnology company which continues its’ ambitious scale-up following a $10 million recent investment. They provide the most complete set of solutions in integrated early discovery to mid-phase therapeutic and drug development services in the pharmaceutical industry and work with some of the top R&D and Pharmaceutical firms in the world. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a relatively young organization as they successfully build on their friendly and collaborative team. They are recruiting for an experienced Business Development VP / Executive or Senior Director to spearhead their expansion into European markets for Commercial Manufacturing solutions.

In return you can expect the autonomy and tools to create your own Sales Territory, Board level support, opportunity to progress up the ranks in a business with a flat management structure, a base salary in the mid £100ks along with salary-tied bonus and other incentives. The role is fully remote but will require 40-50% European Travel

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy with the CCO, in order to meet the sales target for the EU. You will be focused solely on attaining new, large-scale Commercial Manufacturing business for the new EU facility. Develop and maintain key strategic relationships with late-stage clinical (Phase III) and Commercial biopharma companies to achieve revenue goals.

The role will include:

• Identifying new leads and opportunities for Commercial scale biologics manufacturing

• Nurturing and growing opportunities with established clients

• Generating proposals for leads identified, while working with Proposal Writers, Project Managers, Scientific Leaders and Technical Leads, where required

• Negotiate and win Commercial Supply Agreements with biopharma organisations with appropriate input and review from Legal and Senior Executives

• Providing solutions to clients to help ensure their success in getting their product developed and manufactured to provide therapies or reagents.

• Presenting the company and its large-scale Commercial manufacturing capabilities at both technical and business-based meetings and conferences

• Identify opportunities for strategic relationships with academic and commercial organisations to embed capabilities as primary service and technology provider

• Understand the regulatory process and requirements for biotech organizations to bring a Commercial product to market globally

You will need to have:

· Science degree, relevant to the area working in

· Solid sales and BD experience at a senior level, with exposure to Biologics / Commercial manufacturing / CDMO

· Good understanding of Drug Development process

· Ability to negotiate high value contracts to close
