HOURS - 37 hours per week Mon - Fri

A large, very well established, global manufacturer based in Hillington.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pricing & Sales Analyst.
We are looking for someone who has a strong manufacturing background ideally, with experience in a Global market.

The Role:
To develop, implement and support commercial activities, across the business.
Responsible for assisting in development and implementation the commercial strategy for the business.
The aim of the position is to plan, execute and maintain both new and existing revenue generating strategies to allow the business to meet its operational objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Along with the Head of Department, you will play an important role in the strategic leadership of the business. You will therefore be actively involved in the strategic planning process and be required to provide ongoing vision, leadership and support.

Working in partnership with the UK & Other Global sales offices and ensure the operation of these functions is in line with the expectations of the customers.

To have commercial responsibility for the UK brands with the objective of assisting to define an approach/strategy.

To communicate with all members of the team to ensure has a coordinated and integrated commercial department, with positive working relationships throughout the UK & Other Global Operations.

To champion and drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the commercial function.

To work in conjunction with the full commercial function in supporting the rest of the business in terms of planning, accurate forecasting and strategic direction.

To attend regular strategic reviews and report on performance as an integrated part of the business management process.

Pricing, profitability and the quote conversion ratio by region will be a key aspect of this analysis.

To be involved in systematic project tracking and relationship building with the customers via a digital media platform. Monthly regional funnel/forecast bookings calls should also be maintained.

To participate in and advance a culture of continuous employee development and maximize the potential of this critical resource through a process of training and planning.

To Work closely with Legal and Finance functions to evaluate business opportunities and mitigate commercial risk.

To work closely with the Sales Leadership team to convert, develop and maintain the relationships with Key Customer Accounts.

Develop and maintain a robust, highly efficient system to coordinate with Approved Vendor List registration and maintenance process for End‐Users/Key Customers around the globe.

Support the On‐site QA Senior in developing improvements in both Product and Process Quality.

Core Competency Requirements:

Ideally some form of technical knowledge of selling equipment within a global manufacturing setting.

An influential character, with strong communication and people development skills. Along with a proven ability to achieve success when working with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Demonstrates excellent commercial acumen, creativity and an ability to plan and implement highly effective, revenue generating commercial strategies.

Required Qualifications:
Degree level candidate - Ideally in some form of Business Degree.
Batchelors degree (BA or BSc) from four‐year college or university course would be advantageous.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The role is more "process management" and not a people management role.
The role is mainly about process and commercial responsibilities.

You MIGHT occasionally be asked to travel, but this will only be 1 - 2 times a year maximum.

Systems used are SAP and BI Power. Must have advanced Excel to manipulate data.
